Salary: £50-£70,000 DOE
A growing business in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a commercially astute, hands-on Purchasing Manager with strong experience in CEM or OEM environments. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will take ownership and drive meaningful improvements across purchasing and supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities as a Purchasing Manager
Own and manage a substantial purchasing spend with full accountability for performance.
Drive supplier negotiations, cost reduction initiatives, and long-term supplier strategies.
Analyse and challenge BOMs, clearly articulating cost structures and value opportunities.
Implement process improvements across purchasing and supply chain, delivering measurable results.
Work cross-functionally to influence change and support business growth.
About You as a Purchasing Manager
A proactive, hands-on approach comfortable owning outcomes, not just delegating tasks
Strong negotiation, supplier management, and analytical capability
Confident working with complex BOMs and cost breakdowns
Highly organised, commercially sharp, and able to execute a clear purchasing strategy
