An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a respected small-to-medium-sized contractor specialising in high-end bespoke residential builds across London and the Home Counties.
The Quantity Surveyor will play a pivotal role in delivering luxury refurbishments and new build homes valued between £500,000 and £3 million, working closely with clients, project managers, and site teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

The Role – Quantity Surveyor
As Quantity Surveyor, you’ll take full commercial responsibility for multiple projects, from tender through to final account. You’ll also provide mentoring and guidance to junior team members while maintaining the highest standards of quality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage all surveying and commercial aspects of residential refurbishment projects.
 
* Prepare cost plans, valuations, variations, and final accounts.
 
* Work closely with project teams and clients to ensure smooth delivery.
 
* Oversee procurement, subcontractor management, and budget control.
 
* Mentor and support assistant surveyors and junior staff.
 
* Ensure compliance with company procedures and best practices.

The Ideal Candidate – Quantity Surveyor
 
* Minimum 4-5 years’ experience as a Project Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within the high-end residential market.
 
* Proven experience leading refurbishments and/or new build projects in London.
 
* Strong technical knowledge, particularly around high-spec finishes and heritage refurbishments.
 
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – a team player with a positive attitude.
 
* Ability to lead projects independently while contributing to a collaborative office culture.
