Overview

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and supporting high-quality projects from concept to completion? We’re looking for an M&E Project Engineer to join our team and work closely with our M&E Project Manager in supporting Mechanical & Electrical Contractors and enhancing the full customer journey. In this role, you’ll collaborate with our Equipment Business Lines and local Service teams to deliver a seamless value chain, promote innovative solutions, and contribute to project success across the board.

Responsibilities
  • Acting as a key point of contact for M&E Contractors, building strong, trusted relationships.
  • Planning and prioritising costing and proposal activities to support agreed business goals.
  • Conducting customer site visits to understand processes, identify needs, and spot additional opportunities.
  • Preparing project proposals, plans, valuation certificates, milestone reports, and pricing calculations.
  • Working closely with Equipment Business Lines to understand technical offerings and business priorities.
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records, including leads, opportunities, visit actions, and performance data.
  • Preparing and delivering presentations that showcase our capabilities and strengthen customer confidence.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the organisation to coordinate activities and support shared success.
  • Contributing to sales meetings and ensuring follow-up actions are completed effectively.

  • An understanding of the sales process and customer journey.
  • A customer-focused approach, taking ownership of interactions from start to finish.
  • A good understanding of mechanical equipment (formal qualifications are beneficial but not essential).
  • Strong IT skills and a willingness to learn new systems.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • The ability to travel daily within the region, with occasional travel across the UK when needed.
