Transport Manager

What You’ll Do

• Oversee daily transport operations, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
• Manage a team of drivers and logistics personnel to maintain high-performance standards.
• Develop and implement effective transport strategies to optimise efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with all transport regulations and safety standards.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal departments to coordinate logistics.
• Monitor and analyse transport performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

• Proven experience in transport management, preferably in a manufacturing or production setting.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in transport management software and IT systems.
• A valid driving licence is required.

This position is based in Hemel Hempstead, driving is a requirement. Only candidates with relevant experience will be considered.
