CNC Setter​/Operator Night Shift; Turning or Milling

Position: CNC Setter / Operator – Night Shift (Turning or Milling)
Location: Kings Langley

We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Setter / Operator to join a well-established aerospace subcontract manufacturer. This is a long-term opportunity working on high-precision components in a modern machining environment.

The Role:

You will be working on either CNC Turning or CNC Milling, depending on your background:

* Turning:
Setting and operating CNC lathes using DMG MORI CELOS controls

* Milling:
Setting and operating CNC milling machines with Heidenhain controls

This is a setter/operator position – no offline programming required, but strong setting and tooling knowledge is essential.

Responsibilities:

* Set and operate CNC machines to tight aerospace tolerances

* Read and interpret engineering drawings

* Tool setting, offsets, and minor adjustments

* Carry out quality checks using measuring equipment

* Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator (Turning or Milling)

* Experience with CELOS (Turning) or Heidenhain (Milling) controls

* Background in aerospace or precision engineering preferred

* Ability to work independently on a night shift
