Position: HGV Driver & Supervisor
Location: Hemel Hempstead
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE
Position Overview- Oversee all night-time transport activities across the depot
- Ensure the operation runs efficiently and in line with company standards
- Carry out driving duties as required
- Maintain full compliance across the fleet and operation
- Build and manage relationships with subcontractors
- Support with budgeting and operational planning
- Undertake people-management duties including recruitment, rota planning and disciplinary processes
- Class 1 or Class 2 HGV Licence – essential
- Background in courier, parcel or logistics operations – advantageous
- Supervisory or management experience within a transport environment
- Comfortable with hands‑on duties and supporting across the depot where needed
- Transport Manager CPC – beneficial
- Company pension scheme
- Night shift pattern:
Saturday – Wednesday, approx. 20:00/21:00 start – 04:00/05:00 finish - 28 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)
