Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated HR Advisor to join our HR team at The Henley College. In this fast-paced office environment, you will play a key role in delivering high quality HR services across the college. This varied generalist role includes supporting recruitment, employee relations, performance management and learning and development, as well as contributing to the development and implementation of our new HR Information System (HRIS).
You'll work closely with managers and staff at all levels, offering expert advice and helping to embed best practice in people management.
- Support recruitment, employee relations, performance management and learning and development.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the HR Information System (HRIS).
- Provide expert HR guidance to managers and staff at all levels and help embed best practice in people management.
- Experience in a People/HR advisory role, ideally within the education sector or a similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation, recruitment principles, and performance management processes.
- A proven ability to support employee relations cases and lead organisational change projects.
- At least part of CIPD qualification minimum at Level 3 or 5 (or equivalent experience), with a willingness to continue professional development.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Confidence using HR systems and producing clear, accurate reports.
- A professional and approachable manner, with the ability to provide guidance and build trust across all levels of the organisation.
