German to English / English to German In-House Translator and Project Manager

We are looking for a trained or newly qualified German to English or English to German in‑house translator to join our team in the heart of Henley‑on‑Thames, Oxfordshire.

Duties include:

• In‑house translation of a variety of texts
• Project Management
• Proofreading
• General administration
• Translation software usage

Qualifications:

Candidates must have excellent written and spoken English (essential) and a degree or master’s level in German. Other languages are a bonus, but not a requirement. We will consider anyone without this who has over 3 years’ experience as an in‑house or freelance translator.

Our office in Henley runs a small but efficient team of translators and project managers, housed in a former 16th Century Inn and is close to the shops and river.
