The Role
Job Title: Executive Support Officer
Hours: 37 per week
Salary: HC6 £ 28,142 – £32,162 per annum
Contract: Permanent

We are looking to recruit an Executive Support Officer to join the Corporate Support team. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a dynamic team within a high‑profile environment.
What Will You Be Doing?- Provide in‑depth administrative and secretarial support to Directors / Heads of Service.
- Directly support at least two senior staff, enabling them to carry out their duties effectively.
- Organise meetings, prepare agendas and relevant papers, schedule diaries, and take minutes with action logs.
- Raise purchase requisitions and maintain all team files and records in efficient order.
- Assist with specific projects as and when required.
The successful candidate should have enthusiasm for working in a fast‑paced environment, confidence to deal with highly sensitive matters professionally, and a strong ability to act in line with council policies.
