Role OverviewWe are looking to recruit an Executive Support Officer to join the Corporate Support team. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of a dynamic team within a high‑profile environment.
What You Will Be Doing- Provide in‑depth administrative and secretarial support at Director/Head of Service level, enabling them to carry out their duties effectively and meet all obligations with internal and external stakeholders.
- Deliver direct support to at least two senior staff members.
- Organise meetings, prepare agendas and relevant papers, schedule diaries, take minutes and action logs, raise purchase requisitions, and maintain efficient team files and records.
- Assist with specific projects as required.
The successful candidate should have an enthusiasm for working in a fast‑paced environment and the confidence to deal with highly sensitive matters professionally and in line with the council’s policies.
