Construction Estimator

We’re looking for an experienced Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our team and play a key role in keeping projects on time, on budget, and running smoothly, from initial tender through to final account. The ideal candidate will have previous experience bidding a range of project types from £100,000 - £5,000,000 in value, within a commutable distance to Hereford, at least 3 days a week.

• High-end new builds (large single residential dwellings)

• Listed building restorations

• Educational facilities – schools and colleges

• Extensions, refurbishments, and renovations

• Commercial fit-outs and upgrades
Your Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate estimates, tenders, and cost plans

• Monitor project budgets and manage variations

• Liaise with clients, suppliers, and site teams

• Support procurement and secure best-value deals

• Visit sites to assess progress and maintain financial control
What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in quantity surveying and estimating (10+ years preferred)

• Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials

• Confidence using estimating software and spreadsheets

• Practical mindset with excellent attention to detail

• Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach
