Days and Nights: 12 hour shifts.

• React promptly to plant and machine failures, diagnosing and repairing issues to minimize downtime.
• Prioritise safety by ensuring all equipment complies with legal standards and is safe to operate.
• Train and advise plant operators and engineers on both new and existing systems to enhance operational efficiency.
• Participate in plant improvement projects, implementing best practices to optimise performance.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and proactively monitor plant systems, ensuring effective utilisation of assets.
• Manage spare parts inventory, raising orders and updating maintenance procedures as needed.

• A time-served engineering apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical maintenance.
• At least two years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnosis skills, including PLC interrogation.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with a commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.
