Are you ready to take the next step in your finance career within a multi‑academy trust that provides pathways to success by delivering educational excellence in our communities. Amethyst Academies Trust is seeking a high performing, ambitious and technically skilled Finance Director to join our central team. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting our Trust’s financial excellence and operational success, working closely with the Chief Operations Officer (COO) and senior leaders across our schools.

Location: Central Office (Penn Hall School) Finance Office Based at Moreton School

Contract: Permanent, Full‑time

The Role
  • Produce monthly management accounts, annual budgets, and complete statutory returns.
  • Ensure robust financial controls and compliance with the Academy Trust Handbook.
  • Manage and develop a talented finance team, supporting their professional growth.
  • Collaborate with school leaders and external partners to deliver high‑quality financial services.
