You will report directly to Senior Management overseeing a small finance team. Ideally suited to a finalist/qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA finance professional really looking to add value in a hands-on role, part-qualified or qualified by experience financial professionals will be considered. Your new role Key duties will involve managing while remaining hands-on with all accounting processes, including management accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting & more.
Providing financial advice & strategy to senior management to support decision-making & future planning. You will oversee a small finance team, ensuring targets/deadlines & accuracy are achieved. You will provide financial analysis, take a lead on improving processes/systems & ensure compliance with financial regulators. The position will be tailored around the right candidate, with the opportunity to really make the role your own.
What you'll need to succeed To be considered for this varied Finance Manager role, you need experience in a similar position, ideally ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified. However, finalists, part-qualified & qualified by experience candidates will be considered. You will have experience in process improvement, strong communication skills to build internal/external relationships at all levels, along with being able to manage workloads & meet deadlines.
You will have key MS Excel skills, experience in a range of financial systems, with a hands-on, proactive working approach. Ideally, you will have worked within small/medium-sized organisations previously in a hands-on, varied role. Supervisory experience would be advantageous but not essential. What you'll get in return This permanent Finance Manager role offers a salary between £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependable on experience based in Herefordshire.
