You will be working as part of a multidisciplinary therapy team with an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Complementary Therapist, Music Therapist, and will have an experienced part‑time SALT Assistant to support you at each home. The multidisciplinary therapy team works in collaboration with a well‑resourced, experienced and skilled workforce of nurses, nursing associates and carers to deliver complex, individualised, holistic care to residents of all ages.

Advanced training in dysphagia and feeding, and the management of complex communication needs are essential. Experience of the IDDSI framework for food textures and thickening drinks; and of guiding and training others in feeding techniques, equipment and textures are vital parts of the role.
