AboutThe Role
Join our team in Hereford as a Maintenance Engineer and take pride in being part of something meaningful!
Responsibilities- Perform maintenance on CNC and manual machinery used in steelwork fabrication.
- Support operations through general maintenance tasks across the plant.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
- Work under electrical and mechanical permit systems, following approved safe systems of work.
- Respond to breakdowns and carry out proactive maintenance as directed by Team Leads and the Fabrication Manager.
- Conduct weekly legionella testing audits.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to risk assessments and work instructions.
- Carry out repairs and preventative maintenance on boiler systems.
- Champion our Zero Harm safety culture in everything you do.
We’re seeking a proactive and safety-conscious individual with a strong mechanical and electrical maintenance background. Experience with CNC machinery and a commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement are essential.
The Following Skills And Experience Are Essential- Experience using CNC milling to make tooling for production use.
- Experience with overhead crane and plant operation.
- Experience with forklift truck and telehandler operations.
- NVQ Level 3 in electrical system and equipment.
- NVQ Level 3 in mechanical maintenance and installation.
- 18th edition wiring regulations.
- ESSW and MSSW awareness training.
- PAT qualification.
- Asbestos awareness and fire marshall training.
- First aid at work certification.
