Quality FAIR Inspector (6-Month Contract)

Stevenage, UK Onsite Role Security Clearance: BPSS Required Pay Rate: £30.00 £ 35.00 per hour (via Umbrella Company) Our client is a leading manufacturing business in the aerospace, defense, and energy sectors. They are seeking a Quality FAIR Inspector on a six-month onsite contract in Stevenage. Primary Objectives of the Quality FAIR Inspector role:
Completion of FAIRs to AS9102 requirements. Inspection and measurement of components. Facilitate creation of PFMEA, Control Plans, and ITPs. Interface with Design, Engineering, and Operations to ensure products meet approved design data. Check and review Supplier FAIRs. Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining the quality management system and implement corrective actions. Support continuous improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen, lean methods). Conduct audits, close findings, and maintain documentation in Qpulse. Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective/preventive actions. Manage suppliers performance and support QA receiving inspection processes. Essential

Skills:

FAIR / First Article Inspection experience. Proficient with measuring tools (digital callipers, micrometers).

Experience with ISO
9001/AS9100 quality systems. Desirable

Skills:

Internal auditing, root cause analysis, continuous improvement techniques, EASA Part 21 knowledge.
