Retail Merchandiser

If so, at eXPD8 we’re looking for a Retail Merchandiser based in Tesco Hereford.

Confirmed working days/hours:
Wednesdays – 3.75 hours during store opening hours (start time is flexible). Vacancy split over multiple stores that will need to be visited on the same day.

• Tesco Tupsley Express, HR1
• Buckingham Inn, HR4
• Adhoc work in local area – Boots, T G Jones (as interested and agreed)

• Ensure fixtures are set up effectively.
• Display products and promotions attractively.
• Keep shelves well‑stocked.
• Maintain compliance with merchandising standards, store policies, procedures and health‑and‑safety guidance.
• Follow and implement planograms, where provided, to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
• Set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts and special offers.
• Build and maintain good working relationships with in‑store colleagues, especially department and store managers.
• Provide accurate and timely feedback to client account teams via the feedback application, acting as the eyes and ears in the stores.

• Experience of, or passion for, merchandising, retail and/or customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, meeting set time frames, using initiative to find solutions.
• Take pride in delivering great standards and service for clients.
• Comfortable with manual handling – moving and arranging products from warehouse to shop floor.
• Willing to accept home deliveries of point‑of‑sale or stock items for some visits (extra pay).
• Confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos and answer questions about tasks.
• Full UK driving license and access to a car.
