Job Title
Gateman / Material Controller
LocationHerne Bay, Kent
OverviewSkilled Careers are currently looking for a reliable Gateman / Material Controller to join a busy construction site in Herne Bay.
Responsibilities- Controlling site access and signing visitors in and out
- Managing deliveries and ensuring materials are directed to the correct areas
- Keeping accurate records of materials coming on and off site
- Assisting with general site organisation and cleanliness
- Communicating effectively with site management and delivery drivers
- Valid CSCS card and Gateman ticket (Standard ticket, NPORS or CPCS)
- Previous experience as a Gateman or Material Controller preferred
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Punctual, reliable, and safety conscious
- Ability to work well as part of a team
Pay rate - £16.18 per hour
Ongoing work for the right candidate
Start date - Monday 5th January 2026
