Job Title: Stock Controller

Location: Hertford

Salary: £12.50per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday,08:30 to 17:00

We are looking for a Stock Controller to join a creative production and fulfilment environment in Hertford. The business produces high quality print display and branded solutions for well known clients which means the operations space is clean organised and full of varied work. You will play a key part in keeping stock accurate and ready for fast moving client projects.

This role suits someone with experience as a Stock Controller Inventory Controller or Operations Administrator who enjoys responsibility and thrives in a busy but friendly team.

• Maintain accurate stock levels across printed materials promotional items and display products
• Complete cycle counts and full stock audits across multiple storage areas
• Manage the full goods in process including checking deliveries booking items into the system and directing stock to the correct area
• Allocate stock for fulfilment and dispatch and keep pick locations replenished
• Investigate discrepancies and keep the stock and operations area tidy organised and compliant
• Use inventory software and Excel to record track and report stock movements
• Work closely with production procurement and account teams to support client deadlines

• Experience in stock control inventory or operations
• Confident using Excel and happy working with stock systems
• Great attention to detail with an organised approach
• Comfortable with manual handling when required
• Positive attitude and able to support both hands on and admin work

• Experience in fulfilment logistics print or display production
• Forklift licence helpful but not essential

• Temp to perm opportunity with salary between £26,000 to £27,000 per year
