Site Agent

Location: Hertfordshire
Site Agent / Senior Site Agent – Outside IR35
12-Month Contract | Start ASAP | £400–£425 per day

I’m supporting a major infrastructure programme and am looking for an experienced Site Agent or Senior Site Agent to take the lead on a large wastewater upgrade scheme. The project is moving into early delivery stages, with enabling works kicking off shortly and a substantial construction phase to follow.

This role needs someone confident running a site day-to-day, managing a mix of civils, MEICA, and complex interfaces. You’ll be the on-site lead—driving progress, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring all safety, quality, environmental and compliance requirements are met throughout the programme. Works will span new structures, pumping solutions, power upgrades, process systems and associated access and reinstatement activities.

What you’ll be doing :

• Leading all site activities from mobilisation through to completion

• Coordinating civils, mechanical and electrical delivery teams

• Managing subcontractor performance and daily progress

• Keeping HSEQ documentation live and accurate

• Running inductions, toolbox talks and ensuring site compliance

• Engaging with the client and internal teams to keep delivery on track

• Maintaining high standards around live services and temporary works

What you’ll need:

• Proven Site Agent/Senior Site Agent background in water or wastewater projects

• Strong Tier 1-style process knowledge and an organised approach to paperwork

• Confident managing multidisciplinary teams

• SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid (TWC/TWS beneficial)
