CAD Engineer

Position: CAD Engineer (Permanent)
Location: East Hertfordshire

CAD required for a well-established manufacturer of enclosures and facades based in the Hertford area. In support ongoing growth they are seeking an enthusiastic CAD Engineer to produce designs for projects with the use of AutoCAD & Inventor.

CAD Engineer Job Overview

Designing and developing enclosures and facades with the use of 2D CAD, including installation, manufacturing and general arrangement drawings
Assisting the product development stages using Autodesk Inventor
Travelling to customer sites to carry out site surveys throughout the UK and occasionally across Europe.
Participating in design meetings, both at customer sites and via video platforms.
Producing designs for installation purposes
Coordinating design requirements with customers and suppliers

CAD Engineer

Job Requirements

Good knowledge of AutoCAD & Inventor
Experienced with the creation of layout, assembly and installation drawings
Good communication skills
Full UK Driving License with a willingness to travel for work occasionally

CAD Engineer Salary & Benefits

Salary £40,000 - £60,000 depending on experience
33 days holiday, including bank holidays
Private Health Insurance, following the qualifying period
Pension & Death in Service benefit
Monday to Friday, full-time, permanent position
