We are looking for an energetic and dynamic person to join the E&B Systems Team at the Environment Agency. This is a permanent role within the development team.

The role will give you the opportunity to experience a wide variety of work and develop widely transferable skills. The main focus is the support and delivery of technical digital solutions to address business problems and to support major digital transformation. You will help understand how digital tools can improve regulatory work and build solutions to support staff in their front‑line work.

• Lead on technical development areas and solutions.
• Manage yourself and collaborate with dispersed project groups.
• Support and deliver technical digital solutions for regulatory services.
• Identify and implement improved methods, processes, and tools.
• Build and sustain relationships with internal and external customers.
• Convey technical knowledge to non‑technical clients.

• Experience in digital product management or environment practice.
• Comfortable with tools such as Power Platform, SharePoint, DCP, Canvas Apps, Microsoft Access.
• Strong technical skills and ability to configure applications.
• Understanding of business problems and ability to think innovatively.
• Ability to collaborate with customers and develop partner relationships.
• Strong communication skills (technical to non‑technical).

Flexible working arrangements are available, including job share.

Location is flexible; infrequent travel may be required for meetings in Bristol/Birmingham.
