Pay: £15 – £16 per hour (depending on experience)
Overtime: £22.50 - £24 per hour
Hours:
Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm | Overtime available | Ongoing work, temp to perm
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join a busy sheet metal company based in Buntingford. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in welding, fabrication, or general metalworking who’s looking for steady, long-term work with the potential to go permanent. You’ll be working on a range of metal fabrication projects, producing high-quality work for commercial and industrial clients.
What You’ll Do
* Carry out MIG welding and general fabrication work
* Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Measure, cut, and assemble sheet metal components
* Operate workshop machinery and hand tools safely
* Maintain a tidy work area and follow health and safety procedures
* Work as part of a small, skilled team to complete custom and production jobs
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience as a Welder, Fabricator, or Sheet Metal Worker
* Skilled in MIG welding
* Confident reading and working from engineering drawings
* Strong understanding of metalwork and fabrication techniques
* Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently
