Position: CNC Miller / Team Leader
Location: Hertfordshire

JRS Associates have partnered up with an exciting precision engineering manufacturer to recruit an experienced CNC Miller / Team Leader.

This is a hands-on leadership role within a high-end machining environment, managing a small team while programming and machining complex components on advanced 3–5 axis CNC milling machines.

The Successful CNC Miller / Team Leader – Package:

* £50,000 – £60,000 per annum

* Day shifts: 8:00am – 4:30pm (flexible start/finish available)

The Successful CNC Miller / Team Leader – Requirements:

* Programming, setting, and operating 3 & 5 axis CNC milling machines

* Offline programming using Hypermill (essential)

* Managing and leading a small team of CNC machinists

* Allocation of workload and daily job planning

* Supporting and mentoring team members on the shop floor

* Reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings

* Tooling selection, optimisation, and process improvement

* Driving quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement

* Working to tight tolerances in a precision engineering environment

* Ensuring health & safety compliance at all times

The Successful CNC Miller / Team Leader - Experience &

Skills:

* Proven experience as a CNC Miller with leadership or supervisory responsibility

* Strong background in Hypermill programming

* Experience machining complex components on 3–5 axis machines

* Confident communicator with a hands-on leadership style

* Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
