Quality Inspector

JRS Associates have partnered up with an exciting precision-engineering company in Welwyn Garden City to recruit a skilled Quality Inspector to join their expanding team on a permanent days shift. This is a great opportunity to join a high-performing manufacturer producing specialist components with consistent growth and long-term stability.

The Successful Quality Inspector – Package:

* £17.00 – £22.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

* Days

Shift:

* Monday – Thursday: 7:00am – 3:30pm

* Friday: 7:00am – 2:00pm

* 37.5 hours per week

The Successful Quality Inspector – Requirements:

* Experienced Quality Inspector from a precision engineering, plastics, aerospace, or manufacturing background

* Hands-on dimensional inspection experience using Verniers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Shadow graph/Optical inspection or CMM (desirable)

* Confident inspecting small to medium-sized precision components to tight tolerances

* Able to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings

* Strong understanding of quality documentation including FAIR, ISIR, First-Off and Final Inspection Reports

* Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspection

* Confident communicating with Production and Quality Engineers to resolve quality issues

* Good IT skills for recording inspection data and maintaining accurate quality records
