The role of Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer is a varied one, covering maintenance services across a wide range of plant and equipment in a facility that boasts industry-leading manufacturing processes.
  
The company operate a 24/7 Shift pattern and the successful candidate will be working a 4 on 4 off Days based rota to work 6am to 6pm.
  
This role is essential for maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of the production facility, with a focus on electrical expertise but requiring multi-disciplinary skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with relevant Engineering specifications, Health & Safety policies, and current legislation.
Perform planned maintenance tasks to meet engineering and safety standards.
Conduct remedial engineering work on equipment and facilities as instructed by the Engineering Manager.
Identify and report any potential risks related to safety or equipment failures to management.
Complete and log all planned maintenance tasks as per the maintenance schedule.
Respond to equipment breakdowns efficiently to minimize downtime and production disruption.

The Candidate:

Proven experience working in a Maintenance Department.
Must be multi-skilled and be able to carry out both Electrical and Mechanical fault finding
Ideally be apprentice trained
Must have worked in a Fast-paced manufacturing environment e.g. Plastics, Food, Extrusion, Cosmetics, Healthcare etc
Good experience of managing safety in your daily activities
Excellent Mechanical Fault-finding skills
Experience working with CMMS platforms and PPM experience
Must be happy to work 12 hr days 4 on 4off
