What You’ll Be Doing
  • Provide clear and timely environmental information to support decision‑making.
  • Work closely with local management on environmental initiatives.
  • Monitor emissions to air and water in line with IPPC permit requirements.
  • Organise and collect external environmental samples.
  • Learn about the waste hierarchy and UK waste legislation, assisting with monitoring and reporting of site waste activities.
  • Help raise environmental awareness across the site.
  • Track and report Key Environmental Performance Indicators.
What We’re Looking For
  • Successfully completed the first two years of a degree (by summer 2026) in a relevant engineering or environmental discipline.
  • Confident with IT and familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A collaborative approach and ability to build positive relationships.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
