Driverisresponsibleforsafelyoperatingcommercialvehiclestotransportmaterials,equipment,andsuppliestoandfromjobsitesincompliancewithallapplicabledrivingregulationsandcompanypolicies.

Thisroleincludesmaintainingaccuratedeliverydocumentation,communicatingwithforemanasneeded,assistingwithloadingandunloadingactivities,andensuringvehiclesareproperlyinspected,fueled,and maintained.

The Truck Drivermayalsosupportjobsiteoperationsbyperforminggenerallabortaskswhenrequiredandmustmaintainavalid Class ACommercial

Driver’sLicense.

• Drivestrucktodestination,applyingknowledgeofcommercialdrivingregulationsandroadsinarea.
• Preparereceiptsanddeliveryticketsformaterialhauledasneeded.
• Mayassistinloadingandunloadingtruckandisresponsibleforsecuringcargoduringtransit.
• Inspectstruckequipmentandsupplies,suchastires,lights,brakes,gas,oil,andwater.
• Fuelstruckandaddoilorwaterasneeded,receivesandturnsinticketsforsame.
• Performorassistintheperformanceofemergencyroadsiderepairs.
• Mayberequiredtodrivemachinesorothertypesoftrucksonatemporarybasis.
• Mayberequiredtooccasionallyperformnormallaborertasks.

• Mustposseavalidclass"A"Commercial Driver’sLicenseandwithtruck-driving experience.
• Haz Mat Endorsement (Preferred).
• Manual Transmissionexperiencerequired.
• Abilitytoloadandunloadvarioustypesofheavyequipmentusedintheconstructionindustryontoandoffalowboytrailer.

• Outdoorpositionincludestravelingtojobsites.
• Exposuretoundergroundinfrastructure,confined spaces,high temperatures(during curing),andvariousweatherconditions.
• Mayrequireweekendornightworkdependingonprojectschedules.
• Useofpersonalprotectiveequipment(PPE) required

• Abilitytolift,carry,andmoveheavymaterials(oftenupto
  80poundsormore)
• Comfortableworkinginvariousweatherconditions,including heat,cold,rain,andwind
• Staminatostand,walk,bend,kneel,andcrouchforextendedperiods
• Goodhand-eyecoordinationandmanualdexterityforhandlingtoolsandequipment
• Abilitytoclimbladders,scaffold,andworkatheightssafely
• Physicalendurancetoperformrepetitivetasksthroughouttheworkday
• Goodbalanceandcoordinationfornavigatinguneventerrainandconstructionsites
• Abilitytoworkinconfinedspaceswhennecessary
• Adequatevisionandhearingtomonitorworksitesafetyandoperatemachinery
• Nosignificantphysicallimitationsorimpairmentsthatwouldhindersafejobperformance
• Abletowearfull Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
