Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Virtue Technologies
Salary: £43,234 + Pension + Holidays + Sick pay scheme + Staff shop + subsidised canteen + Standard OT rate + £300 bonus
Location:
High Peak

Hours:
Double Days (6‑2 pm / 2‑10 pm) Mon‑Thurs & Fridays 6‑12 pm / 12‑6 pm
Key Skills
- Apprentice trained in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience of Packaging Machinery
- Understanding of PPM Systems
Responsibilities
- Work independently on day‑to‑day engineering and maintenance activities, maintaining highest standards and maximizing machine efficiency.
- Service automated systems, packaging machinery, conveyors, multi‑vac machines, gearboxes, pumps, general mechanical work, and other manufacturing machinery.
- Apply mechanical bias while being multi‑skilled; support fast‑moving manufacturing environment.
- Engage in training to broaden skills across machinery and systems.
