Our residential home is in the beautiful High Peak, providing high quality Residential, Respite and Dementia care for 36 residents.
At our home, you’ll be a key person responsible in helping us achieve an excellent standard of care to our residents. You’ll be an integral part of our care team to promote the values and ethos of our home.

- 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full-time contract)
- Empower Independence: Assist residents with daily routines from getting dressed to staying active, encouraging them to make positive choices and remain as independent as possible.
- Personalised Care: Follow and support each resident’s personalised care plan, providing hands‑on help and thoughtful attention to their individual needs.
- Health and Wellbeing: Monitor residents’ health, communicate concerns to the nurse or clinical deputy manager, and assist with calls to relatives or healthcare professionals.
- Champion Dignity: Uphold the dignity and respect of each resident, ensuring they feel valued and cared for in every interaction.
- Social Support: Encourage social interactions among residents and staff, creating a warm and welcoming environment.
- Safety and Comfort: Work with housekeepers to maintain clean, safe, and comfortable living spaces, and respond quickly to emergencies or call bells.
- Nutritional Support: Assist residents who need extra help with eating and drinking, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
- Spread Smiles: Bring joy to our residents’ lives and make them smile every day.
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred, but not essential.
- Experience: Ideally at least six months as a Care Assistant, but we welcome those with a passion for care and transferable skills.
- Passion: A genuine interest in caring for the elderly and a commitment to delivering excellent service.
- Values: Integrity, respect, and a strong sense of teamwork.
