Domestic Assistant – Harbour Healthcare

Location: Regency Hall Care Home, 9, Chapel Lane, Glossop SK13 1PJ

Pay: £12.21 per hour, 40 hours per week

We’re searching for compassionate individuals eager to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety for residents and common areas. No previous experience or qualifications are required; we provide training and support.

• Maintain tidy, clean rooms, communal areas and kitchens according to safety and hygiene standards.
• Provide housekeeping support, ensuring linens remain clean and available for residents.
• Identify and report any potential fire or accident risks, working with other teams to reduce these risks.
• Assist residents with light duties such as meal setup and general housekeeping tasks.
• Support staff in the delivery of care and maintain a welcoming environment for families.

• Enthusiasm, reliability and a high personal standard of hygiene.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety and cleaning procedures.
• Good communication skills and a team‑player attitude.
• Enhanced DBS check required for all roles involving children and adults.
