Vehicle Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our client's highly reputable, award-winning independent garage located in High Wycombe. Competitive starting basic salary from £37,500, negotiable based on experience, with potential for higher earnings for EV or Master Technician status
Year-end bonus equivalent to 10% of annual salary
Monday to Friday working hours, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm
No weekends required

Duties:

Conduct routine vehicle servicing and checks in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
Perform vehicle diagnostics to identify repair needs accurately
Carry out repairs and component replacements to industry standards
Undertake vehicle road tests to ensure quality standards are met
Maintain a high standard of work and professionalism at all times
Support colleagues where necessary to ensure smooth workshop operations
Help uphold the company's reputation for quality and excellent customer service

Requirements:

Level 3 Motor Vehicle Technician or equivalent qualification
Full UK driving licence
Proven experience in vehicle servicing and repairs, capable of handling a wide range of automotive tasks
Confident in diagnostics and repair procedures
Team player with a proactive approach to work and career development
MOT licence is advantageous but not essential
