• Site Surveys:
  Conducting on‑site inspections to assess existing windows, doors, glazing, and structures or other building items as needed.
• Measurements:
  Accurately measuring and recording data for new windows and doors, curtain wall or other building items as needed.
• Problem Identification:
  Identifying site‑specific issues and recording them on the survey for later analysis to ensure technical verification of the order.
• Compliance:
  Ensuring compliance with building regulations, industry standards in line with the company procedures and contractual requirements.
• Order Validation:
  Producing drawings and schedules to ensure customer sign‑off prior to onward production and buying scheduling.
• Technical Expertise:
  Understanding and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Budget:
  Ensuring the budgeted cost meets both company and client requirements.
• Time:
  Ensuring all critical paths are on time or extended by consent of the customer or company agreed timescales.

• Minimum 5 years proven experience in window surveying, glazing, or a related industry in a similar role.
• NVQ Level 3 in window surveying, CSCS gold card.
• Strong knowledge of commercial glazing systems, building regulations, and industry standards.
• Physical ability: climb, kneel, crouch, reach.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with IT tools and software for data recording and management including AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail, problem‑solving, and the ability to work independently.
• Full UK driving licence.
