Your role:
Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Civil or Structural Engineering graduate looking to make a real impact on vital infrastructure projects? We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Structural Engineer to join our dynamic water team in High Wycombe
, as part of our 2026 graduate programme. You'll be working closely with our experienced team, contributing to the full lifecycle of structural design in concrete, steel, and masonry structures
.

  • Developing conceptual, preliminary, and detailed structural designs for a variety of water and energy-related infrastructure, such as pumping stations, water treatment works, reservoirs, flood defence schemes, and related buildings.
  • Conducting structural inspections and investigations of existing assets, assessing their condition and integrity.
  • Producing concise and clear reports for asset maintenance, modification, and new build projects.
  • Making calculations about loads and stresses using advanced mathematical and computer modelling software.
  • Selecting appropriate construction materials with a focus on safety, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Liaising with multi-disciplinary teams
    , including Mechanical, Electrical, and Geotechnical engineers, to enable collaborative design-building across complex projects.
  • Assisting with the preparation of drawings and specifications.
  • Gaining exposure to project, commercial, and client management.
