Location: Stantec, High Wycombe, England, United Kingdom (available in London, Reading, or High Wycombe)

Stantec is experiencing significant growth in its water sector and seeks a Senior Structural Engineer to join our structural engineering team. In this role you will lead the delivery of high‑quality structural engineering projects across a variety of sectors, partner with clients across the UK, and play a key role in exceeding their requirements through technical project delivery.

You will report directly to the Specialist Structural Engineering Technical Lead, develop our structural knowledge, and support opportunities in sectors beyond water and energy. The role is based in one of our South offices (London, Reading or High Wycombe) with hybrid working between office and home anticipated.

Your responsibilities include:

• Design structural solutions for concrete, steel and masonry structures.
• Conduct structural inspections and produce accurate reports that define requirements for asset maintenance and modification.
• Ensure compliance with client and regulatory standards.

In addition to prior structural design experience, you will have:

• Good knowledge of civil and geotechnical engineering and awareness of other engineering disciplines to enable collaborative working.
• Strong understanding of construction (temporary and permanent) and the information requirements of construction teams in design‑build projects.
• A broad range of structural and civil engineering experience and a desire to coach and mentor others.
