Salary – £33,951 – £37,694 pro rata

We have an exciting opportunity for an individual skilled in 3D CAD to join our Technical and Simulation Resources team. The purpose of the role is to provide the highest levels of service to staff and students during the 3D digital design process. You must have excellent theoretical and practical knowledge to demonstrate common 3D CAD packages such as SOLIDWORKS, ONSHAPE and AutoCAD and be familiar with creating and manipulating files such as DWG, DXF & STL.

You must have good planning and communication skills to demonstrate software packages to a broad audience from expert to beginner, and to provide assistance with the successful transition to production machines such as workshop CNC and supervising 3D printing projects.
