Position: Mechanical Ventilation Engineer (Permanent)
Location: Loudwater

Mechanical Ventilation Engineer - FM service provider - Buckinghamshire - On Site Parking - Paying Up To £44k

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting a Mechanical Ventilation Engineer to be Based in Buckingham sire. He or she will be required to carry out Planned Maintenance and reactive maintenance on Ventilation systems. The Site offers great bars for after work, cafes for something to eat, on site parking, and a cinema all you need to relax after work.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in building maintenance or commercial settings.

Monday to Friday – 08:00 am to 17:00 pm

Key Responsibilities:

Execute scheduled Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) routines on all ventilation equipment, including Air Handling Units (AHUs), extraction systems, fans, motors, dampers, VAV/VRF systems, and duct work.
Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns, diagnosing complex mechanical faults and implementing effective, long-term repairs.
Conduct detailed inspections of duct work systems, ensuring cleanliness and compliance with industry standards.
Perform essential tasks such as belt replacement, bearing lubrication, filter changes, and fan speed adjustments/balancing.
Collaborate closely with the wider HVAC and M&E teams to ensure system synergy and efficiency.
Oversee and manage specialist sub-contractors when necessary, ensuring all work adheres to site standards and :

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent City & Guilds qualification) in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or Ventilation Systems.

Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in maintaining and installing large-scale mechanical ventilation systems, preferably within commercial, industrial, or critical environments.
