Position: Payroll and HR Officer (Permanent)

About the Role:

As the company's dedicated Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for delivering an accurate , efficient end to end payroll service for weekly and monthly employees. Working as part of a collaborative environment, you will partner closely with both the HR and finance function to ensure seamless processes, compliance, and continuous improvement.

This role would suit someone who thrives in a sole role capacity, enjoys autonomy and values a supportive culture.

Responsibilities:

Manage the full employee payrolls for weekly and monthly staff
Ensure all payroll data is accurate, up to date and processed within agreed deadlines
Collaborate closely with HR on new starters, leavers and employee changes
Working alongside finance to support reconciliations, pension legislation and company policies
Produce payroll reports, analysis and ad-hoc insights to support decision making
Identifying opportunities for process improvements and contribute to enhancing payroll workflows
Manage statutory payments

About You

Previous experience in end to end payroll
Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements
Confident working on payroll software and Excel
Comfortable working independently while also collaborate with HR and Finance
