At Sharp IT Services UK (SITUK), we’re looking for a skilled Technical Consultant to join our team. You’ll build trusted relationships with clients, guiding them through their IT strategy and delivering exceptional service. What You’ll Do:
* IT Strategy Development:
Work closely with clients to create and maintain a long-term IT strategy, developing a roadmap for at least 12 months of tasks.
* On-Site Support:
Provide proactive and reactive technical support on-site, acting as an escalation point for more complex issues.
* Infrastructure Improvements:
Identify opportunities to enhance IT infrastructure, ensuring clients benefit from the latest technologies.
* Project Management:
Plan and deliver diverse technology projects to meet client requirements, ensuring deadlines and expectations are met.
* Client-Facing Documentation:
Produce clear and comprehensive documentation, including Reviews, Proposals, and Plans, to present solutions to clients.
* Team
Collaboration:
Work alongside a regional team to ensure consistent and top-tier client experiences.
* Site Visit Reporting:
Produce Agendas and Reports for site visits, documenting the work completed.
What You’ll Bring :
* Experience:
At least 12 months of IT consultancy and 3+ years in IT support.
* Platform Expertise:
Proven experience in delivering projects with Microsoft 365, and preferably Microsoft Azure.
* Technical
Skills:
Experience with server hardware, operating systems, hypervisors, Networking, Firewalls, Anti-Virus, and Disaster Recovery solutions.
* Certifications:
Actively working towards Microsoft certifications at the Associate level or equivalent.
* Communication
Skills:
Strong verbal and written skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Problem-Solving:
Excellent troubleshooting skills with a creative approach to technical challenges.
* GDPR Knowledge:
Understanding of GDPR data privacy laws within the UK.
