As Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day operation of the home. You will take shared responsibility for ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and compliance are maintained. The role will include a minimum of two shifts per week on the floor, ensuring strong leadership presence and continuity of care, as well as overseeing the home's operations in the Manager's absence.

This opportunity would suit an experienced Senior Carer seeking to further develop their career within a supportive and progressive care environment.

Key Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Proven leadership experience within a care home or similar setting.
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance standards.
  • Experience supporting individuals living with dementia.
  • Excellent care planning and organisational skills.
  • A proactive and approachable leadership style.
Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead, supervise, and develop the care team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant records across all areas of the home.
  • Assist with recruitment, induction, and ongoing staff development.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive culture for residents, families, and staff.
  • Participate in resident and staff meetings, ensuring clear communication and engagement.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and success of the home.

If you are passionate about delivering outstanding care and are ready to take the next step in your leadership journey, we would love to hear from you.
