. This full‑time position is located in Hamilton Specialist Referrals, where you will provide inpatient care for orthopaedic, neurological, soft‑tissue, oncology and internal medicine patients.

• Monitor inpatients and liaise with case clinicians regarding any concerns.
• Administer medications as prescribed.
• Assist with anaesthesia recovery and monitoring.
• Deliver post‑operative care and ongoing inpatient support.
• Collaborate closely with the veterinary team to maintain the highest standards of nursing care.

• Experience in a referral setting is preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adept at multitasking with a flexible, proactive attitude.
• Team‑oriented with the ability to work independently when required.
• Willingness to engage in structured mentoring and a 6‑month training programme.

Full time: approximately 40 hours per week across 4 days (Mon‑Fri). Working shifts are on a rotational basis, ranging from an earliest start of 08:00 to a latest finish of 20:30. The role incorporates a 1 in 6 weekend rota and 2 bank holidays per year.
