Locum Veterinary Surgeon

We are seeking a dedicated Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join our practice in High Wycombe for a fixed term from 27th September 2024 to 6th December 2024. This role involves working 2 days per week, on Thursdays and Fridays, from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM. You will work alongside a professional and supportive team to provide high-quality veterinary care to small animals.

Work Schedule: 2 days per week
Shifts:

• Thursday: 08:30 AM - 7:00 PM
• Friday: 08:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct consultations, diagnostics, and treatment plans for a variety of small animal cases.
• Perform routine surgeries and provide post-operative care.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients, ensuring they understand treatment plans and care options.
• Collaborate with the veterinary team to maintain smooth clinical operations.
• Ensure patient records are accurately maintained and up to date.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine with current registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS).
• Experience in small animal practice, including medical consultations and surgeries.
• Strong communication skills and a client‑focused approach.
• Ability to work efficiently within the team and handle a busy caseload.
• Competitive daily rate, commensurate with experience.
• Flexible work schedule of 2 days per week.
