Role Overview
The Internal Sales Representative plays a vital role in supporting and growing the business. This position is responsible for managing customer relationships, handling sales inquiries, and ensuring efficient order processing to meet customer needs and company sales objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Service
Generate and process customer quotes and orders accurately and efficiently.
Maintain and manage delivery schedules to ensure timely fulfilment of customer orders.
Proactively offer alternatives or replacement products when required to meet customer demands.
Support sales growth targets by identifying and nurturing new sales opportunities.
Lead generation
Outbound calling
Business Development Operational Support
Collaborate with the external sales team to support customer accounts and drive sales initiatives.
Provide office-based support to enhance the overall sales function of the branch.
Actively contribute to achieving branch sales targets and implementing company sales strategies.
Additional Responsibilities
Maintain accurate customer records and update internal sales systems as required.
Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless customer service and order fulfilment.
Stay informed about product offerings, industry trends, and company promotions to enhance sales effectiveness.
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
Attention to detail and accuracy in processing orders and quotes.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and support overall business goals.
Proficiency in using sales and order management systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems is desirable.
