OpportunityAre you ready to join a team leading change and innovation? We need a proactive Manufacturing Engineering Support Technician to work in our world‑class manufacturing facility. You will be part of a focused team of Engineers and Technicians in the Manufacturing Engineering department whose work implements the latest manufacturing technologies and machinery.
What You Will Do- Drive best manufacturing practices into the production environment.
- Complete root cause analysis for quality and inefficiency improvements and implement robust process containment measures.
- Facilitate development of manufacturing process solutions with functional teams, using tools such as process flows, PFMEA, control plans, and promote lean and quality focus within the business.
- Utilize CAD software; design jigs, fixtures, update floor plans, and complete virtual builds.
- Adhere to the company’s Health and Safety policy and safe working practices.
- Adhere to Caterpillar’s Values in Action:

- Good understanding of building and construction equipment assembly, test, or finish processes and production.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety awareness and controls safety.
- Working knowledge of Siemens Teamcenter advantageous.
- Experience of quality concern resolution with tools such as 8D, 5‑why, fishbone diagrams and other appropriate quality tools.
