We're looking for a senior structural engineer who's passionate about great design, thrives in a collaborative environment, and enjoys solving complex structural problems. You'll play a key role in leading project teams, shaping designs, and delivering exceptional results for a wide range of clients.
Responsibilities
Lead the structural design and analysis of building projects across a variety of sectors.Work with steel, concrete, timber, and masonry materials to create efficient and safe structures.Produce detailed design drawings and calculations, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.Collaborate with architects, contractors, and fellow engineers to deliver well-coordinated, high-quality solutions.Attend site inspections and meetings to review progress and maintain technical standards throughout construction.Requirements
A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng or MSc).6+ years' experience in structural design, ideally across a variety of materials and building types.Solid working knowledge of British Standards and Eurocodes.Proficiency with structural design software (e.g., Tekla, TEDDS, Etabs, etc.) and AutoCAD.A proactive mindset, great communication skills, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.In addition to a competitive salary, the successful senior structural engineer will benefit from a comprehensive package that includes a pension scheme, hybrid working, and support to chartership if required.
