CNC Sliding Head Setter

Our well-established client, located in Hertfordshire, is a leading force in precision manufacturing. As they continue to expand, they are seeking a skilled and dedicated Star Sliding Head CNC Machine Setter and Operator to join their team.

• Set up and operate Star and Hanwha Sliding Head CNC machines to produce precision components based on engineering drawings and specifications.
• Conduct routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Monitor machine output, make necessary adjustments, and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.
• Perform inspections on finished products to ensure they meet quality specifications.

• Salary Range: £35,000 - £45,000 (dependent on experience)
• Monday to Friday 7:15 am–4:15 pm, 7:15 am–2:45 pm 30
• Saturday overtime available at time and one half 7:00 am – 11:00 am

• Proven experience as a Sliding Head CNC Machine Setter and Operator.
• Proficient in interpreting and working from engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of CNC programming, tooling, and machining processes.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance on CNC machines.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
