Some Of YourKey Responsibilities
- Carry out routine maintenance and respond to defects within the port to ensure safe operations.
- Work to Health & Safety standards at all times.
- Maintain documentation and records for port machinery.
- Conduct general inspections and upkeep of port facilities.
- Operate machinery as required and qualified for.
- Assist external contractors during on‑site works.
- Take on additional tasks as agreed with your line manager.
You’ll be part of our Technical Services team—a group that values collaboration and problem‑solving. The atmosphere is supportive and hands‑on, with plenty of opportunities to learn and grow. Expect a mix of outdoor work, occasional projects involving boats or confined spaces (with full training provided), and a culture that prioritises safety and care.

Qualifications- Clean driving licence.
- Basic educational or vocational training, or previous experience in construction/maintenance.
- Good safety awareness and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing work scopes.
- Desirable:
Machine driving certificates (telehandler, forklift, tractor & trailer), Health & Safety training (CSCS or similar).
