We are seeking a proactive and organised Office Manager to support a 2-year project based in Holywell, focused on remediation, piling, groundworks, concrete slabs, demolition, and heavy civils works. This role offers flexibility as either a temporary or permanent position and is ideal for a candidate with experience in construction or civil engineering environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing office operations of a Welfare village with potential capacity for up to 500 members of staff on site.

They will also be coordinating between site and office teams and ensuring smooth administrative and logistical support for the project delivery. You will play a key role in supporting project teams involved in piling, groundworks, and remediation activities, ensuring efficient communication and documentation flow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day office operations and provide administrative support to project teams
  • Coordinate communication between site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Support project documentation, including health and safety records, contracts, and progress reports
  • Assist with scheduling and resource planning to support piling, groundworks, and demolition activities
  • Maintain accurate records of materials, equipment, and subcontractor details
  • Replace and reorder new equipment and furniture for the offices
  • Facilitate compliance with company policies and project requirements
  • Support financial administration such as invoicing and budget tracking
  • Organise meetings, prepare minutes, and manage correspondence
Skills
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in construction or civil engineering office environments
  • Knowledge of remediation, piling, groundworks, concrete slabs, demolition, and heavy civils processes (Ideal)
  • Proficient in document control and project administration
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
