Site HSE Engineer/Advisor
📍 Talacre, North Wales
💰 Negotiable Day Rate | Outside IR35
⏱️ 5.5 days on site per week
⏰ 12+ month contract – Project to last up to 2028
Ceto Talent is partnering with a leading EPC contractor, delivering large-scale and complex energy projects onshore and offshore. We're looking for an experienced industry professional to join as a site-based HSE Advisor / Engineer on this exciting and UK-first Carbon Capture project. You will support the effective development, oversight, and continuous improvement of the safety management system across all engineering and development stages of EPIC projects.
Responsibilities- Driving HSE awareness through workforce engagement and training
- Conducting inspections, monitoring subcontractors, and ensuring equipment compliance
- Managing risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis, and safe work practices
- Overseeing Permit to Work systems and hazardous material controls
- Reporting HSE performance, tracking KPIs, and supporting investigations
- Promoting environmental compliance and sustainability on site
- Education:
Qualification in HSE or engineering-related field, Nebosh diploma - Experience:
Several years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry and onshore projects involving construction design, regulation management, and surveying/investigation - Certification: ISO 45001 Lead Auditor
